On October 25-26, 2025, the administrators of the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, led by Assoc. Prof. Rungsun Bhurayanontachai, M.D., Vice Dean for Hospital Affairs and Hospital Director, Assoc. Prof. Sumidtra Prathep, M.D., Vice Dean for Global Affairs and Corporate Communications, and Asst. Prof. Duangkamol Aiewruengsurat M.D., Vice Director of Songklanagarind Vejchavivat Hospital, attended the inauguration ceremony of the SINO-THAI BIOPHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY ALLIANCE and MOU Signing Ceremony of the Sino-Thai Medical Cooperation Consortium at Wenzhou Medical University, Wenzhou, China.
The establishment of the SINO-THAI BIOPHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY ALLIANCE was the doors opening for broader international connections and fostering new partnership opportunities. Meanwhile, the MOU for Sino-Thai Medical Cooperation Consortium aims to strengthen cooperation among member institutions in clinical training, diagnosis, and research in public health, hospital management, and medical innovation.
In this occasion, the delegation also visited a key centers of Wenzhou Medical University, including China Gene Medicine Valley, China Eye Valley, and the Affiliated Eye Hospital.
